Faithfulness: The Reason Why I Do What I Do

When I started my blog in 2013, I had no idea on what the blog was really about. Then in 2014 after Law School everything changed. I had spent some time after Bar Finals waiting on God before I traveled home and one of the things He spoke to me about was the blog. Contrary to what I thought, the blog wasn’t just a blog, it is a ministry for Jesus. Bringing light and truth to people. The blog according to God is a huge part of what He has for me to do for Him. And He ended the whole talk by saying “stay faithful with the blog”.   A lot of the persons I meet end up saying […]

Stand Fast; Keep Guard In Your Path Of Purpose

In January this year I had two dreams that showed me that satan wasn’t happy with what the Lord has given to me to do for Him. At the time I was a bit lax with my prayer life…well because I was in a wilderness season and I had taken a kind of break from “active Christianity” to deaden myself to some things which I felt like God had not done for me. I don’t watch movies; I screen them and mostly watch only Christian movies once in a green moon but in that season I started bingeing on Jenifa. I kind of stopped my prayer time/became really lax with praying in tongues. When I did, I could clearly hear […]

In Him: The Only Way We Can Fulfil Our Purpose

‘For IN HIM we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’ -Acts 17:28 NIV IN HIM was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. -John 1:4 NIV Remain IN ME, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. -John 15:4 NIV   I was at YWAD (Youths with a difference) event on Saturday. I spoke on “Being a 21st century Jesus lover” (now if only I can get the video clips. Yomi? Thank you. Lol). That morning I woke up with “in Him was […]

Understanding The wilderness Seasons Of walking In Purpose

For Those Who Aren’t ‘Outwardly Manifesting Purpose’….Yet   Have you discovered your purpose yet? Are you currently walking in it? Some persons would answer yes to both questions. Some other persons would answer yes to the first question and no to the latter. If that person is you then this post is for you. You know, today’s world is rife with applause being given to everyone who is “doing stuff” and making waves. You see words like “I celebrate you for walking in your purpose” and if you don’t know this truth I am about to share, then there is a tendency for you to feel down and count yourself as nothing because you aren’t all “out there….yet”. Now here […]

…Not For The Applause Of Men

Almost everywhere I turn… Instagram, Facebook, etc. There is such a grapple for fame and applause. Everyone wants to be seen as doing something for God. As walking in purpose. “I” am doing this and I am doing that. There’s just such a slap on your face when you get into social media and sadly this push to do one thing or the other has crept into the Christian fold.   Now, if you are not walking in purpose/your purpose is not outwardly manifesting like others are, you are deemed to be a failure. Worse, you yourself deem yourself to be a failure (we will talk about outwardly manifesting purpose soon). Last year I got a “I am proud of […]

How I Discovered My Purpose

I have been getting some questions on “purpose” recently but even before the the questions, this post has been ringing in my heart.   If you are just joining us on the blog, welcome! #PurposefulMondays is a category on the blog where everything we share is aimed at inspiring you to walk in God’s purpose for your life.   So this is what God says in Jeremiah 29:11   “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord , plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 ESV And also in Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born […]

Maximizing Your Potential || Write

“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” -Revelation 21:5   If you read the above passage in a haste, then you would miss the all important word that makes all the difference in your maximizing the potential that God has put in you. And that is: WRITE!   Now, the one thing that people who are a weary are wary of doing. When life seems to have beaten the fight out of your dreams, the last thing you want to do is dream again… but thankfully God steps in and says “behold I make all things new”, but you have […]
