For Those Who Want To Seize The Bae in 2016 Part 2

We recently started a new study in “The Women At The Well Group” on “Marriage Today”. And the funny thing was that I didn’t want the next study to be on “marriage” because quite frankly, I was at a place where I was kind of tired of hearing about it… BUT it was what I was led to so we drew up a schedule and have been on it for two weeks now and it has been eye opening! (for lack of a better word). I think that I have been more drawn to the fact that God wants to renew minds with the study and prepare us to be spouses that will be blessings to our husbands… so basically, […]

Me And Our Small House

This is Me… This is Raymond my brother… And then here’s Fefe, Ray’s friend… oops! I don’t have a picture here, it’s in my laptop and I am not sure he’ll want his face here anyway… but that’s by the way.   We all live in one small house in Onishon Town, Lakowe, Lagos. I doubt if you’ll know the place. It’s pretty far. My brother commutes from our small house to VI where he works everyday. I commute from our small house to Church/anywhere I have to go every Wednesday/Sunday. On days when there is no traffic, it takes about one hour, and on days when there’s traffic, erm, let’s say 2 hours and above is the minimum it […]

Some Silent Spiritual Warfare Strategies 101

“After this, the armies of the Moabites, Ammonites, and some of the Meunites declared war on Jehoshaphat. Messengers came and told Jehoshaphat, “A vast army from Edom is marching against you from beyond the Dead Sea. They are already at Hazazon-tamar.” (This was another name for En-gedi.)” -2 Chronicles 20:1-2 NLT   Some persons think that the Bible is outdated and irrelevant for what we are going through today BUT the truth is that whoever you are, whatever you are going through, the Bible not only has an answer for your situation, but more often than not, already has a prototype of your situation that was recorded in the Bible.   I have mentioned on the blog and on my […]

A Warning For All Believers In These Times

“When I left for Macedonia, I urged you to stay there in Ephesus and stop those whose teaching is contrary to the truth. Don’t let them waste their time in endless discussion of myths and spiritual pedigrees. These things only lead to meaningless speculations, which don’t help people live a life of faith in God. The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith. But some people have missed this whole point. They have turned away from these things and spend their time in MEANINGLESS DISCUSSIONS.” -1 Timothy 1:3-6 NLT   My heart has been very troubled in recent times… troubled at new […]

Life Lately: 2016 So Far (Vlog) + The Women At The Well Upcoming Meet

Please forgive me people… I didn’t quite publicize our upcoming single ladies meet like I usually do. I would like to lay the blame on lots of things but I think I just wasn’t that proactive because somehow, I maybe lost the drive to share and invite others… So imagine my surprise when I read a post from one of our very first ladies who joined us. I smiled all through as I read the post… and I just saw what I have been doing through God’s eyes. Never underestimate “the place” where God has placed you… the assignments He has given you right now, no matter how small it may seem, God is being glorified and lives are being […]

Cynthia Chinazor: Give Me Your Eyes

“What do you want me to do for You?” Jesus asked.  ”O Teacher”, the blind man said, “I WANT TO SEE!” (Mark 10:51 The LIVING BIBLE translation)   GIVE ME YOUR EYES, LORD…   (1) To see and experience You just as You really are. (2) To appreciate the wonders of Your creation. (3) To see how deep, long, wide and high Your love is, enough to die for me, an undeserving sinner. (4) To recognize that the debt of my sins has been paid; that I am free, forgiven and justified. (5) To recognize that the pleasures that this world and satan is offering me is not worth my soul and eternity in bliss. (6) To recognize that I […]

There Is More…

“One thing have I asked of the Lord , that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. -Psalm 27:4 ESV   I attended Dr Randy Clark’s meeting over the weekend and one of the things I left there with was a desire for MORE. For more out pouring of the Spirit upon me and a deeper walk with Him.   “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall […]

Help Me: I Think I Am Too Messed Up To Walk In Purpose

Hi my name is Frances Okoro. I used to be a porn addict and an expert at masturbation for at least 8 years or more. I committed two abortions in the year 2011 and was that girl you see on your street with shifty eyes that couldn’t look up at you, sadness in her eyes and pain in her soul… Till God found me. Or more correctly, till I found God. Today I am a writer, Christian blogger, author, public speaker, founder of an NGO… a lady who is awed at the mails she gets asking her for advice and encouragement… a lady who still doesn’t quite grasp how God took her from the girl trapped in guilt and shame […]
